Qualification for Installation, Overhaul and Maintenance of Explosion-proof Electrical Equipment (mainly the Certificate of Competence for Installation, Overhaul and Maintenance of Explosion-proof Electrical Equipment) is a mandatory document for enterprises to legally carry out relevant operations. The requirements and procedures for application are as follows:

I. Core Application Requirements

The enterprise shall arrange at least 3 technical personnel to participate in professional training and pass the assessment, and obtain the Personal Qualification Certificate for Explosion-proof Electrical Operation.

The training and assessment are conducted in accordance with the GB/T 3836-2021 series standards (General Requirements for Equipment Used in Explosive Atmospheres).

Validity period: The certificate is valid for 3 years.

II. Complete Application Procedure

Consultation and Preparation: Consult Shenzhen ZOYO Testing Technology Co., Ltd. to confirm the application conditions, and prepare materials including business license, personnel information and application documents.

Personnel Training and Assessment: Arrange employees to take a 1–2 day online special training covering explosion-proof standards, installation and overhaul techniques, safety regulations, etc., followed by theoretical and practical assessments.

Submission of Application and Documents: After passing the assessment, submit the qualification application in the name of the enterprise, together with the business license, personal certificates and other supporting materials.

Issuance of Certificates: Upon approval, the enterprise qualification certificate and personal certificates will be issued, usually within 7–15 working days.
